For Day Out with Thomas, two trains operated with a train departing Glenbrook every 30 minutes. The second train is seen here crossing Morley Road with Ww 644 in charge

Shortly afterwards, Ww 480 charges up the grade putting on a show. With a crossing keeper on duty, trains are allowed to travel at the full 40km/h over Morley Road

To add to the mix, a charter train run by DBR 1254 was also run during the day, making for a total of 3 trains operating on GVR's mainline. The charter is seen here waiting in the loop for the arrival of Ww 480, where the charter will then depart allowing Ww 480 to run around its own train
