Three trains over the bridge over Papakura Stream on Sunday evening; an EMU service to Papakura, DFT 7226 on train 200 and DL 9383 on train MP9S

DFB 7173 and DC 4323 lead train 120 out of Helensville, with ex-AT loco DCP 4663 along for the ride. Train 120 now partially runs in daylight, with Daylight Saving now in effect

DC 4951 powers a "Farewell to the SAs" excursion, organised by the Railway Enthusiasts Society. DL 9360 hauls train MP4S through Huntly, and later on in the day DL 9187 starts MP7S from Ruakura after crossing RM 30. Train MP4S was slowing for a speed restriction north of Huntly, with the ballast cleaner in operation

Silver Fern railcar RM 30 on a weekend excursion from Auckland to Matamata, and return the following day. The train travelled empty from Te Rapa to Hinuera, where the LE changed ends, then ran to Strand and returned to Otahuhu via Orakei

Freight and passenger trains through Westfield Junction on a cloudy Sunday morning. DL 9481 exits Southdown yard with train MP7S, DC 4692 and DBR 1199 enter Westfield with the port shunt and DL 9187 enters Southdown with train MP4S

With just three hours of SA service left to go, SD 5993 leads an 8-car SA set through Papakura, with DC 4939 providing all the power and DC 4951 trailing on the rear. The sets were being relocated from Pukekohe to Westfield

DFT 7008 leads train 248 into Papakura across Boundary Road. Further down the line, DCP 4663 makes a series of runs to Pukekohe on shuttle services, and ADL 805 returns through Drury on a training run to Papakura

DC 4536 and DC 4922 arriving at and departing Papakura Platform 4, on shuttle runs to Pukekohe. The driver of DC 4536 was marking his last day as a driver before starting in a management position

After DC 4248 passes through Paerata on a weekend shuttle to Pukekohe, DL 9446 powers train MP7S through Paerata, followed by the return of the SA set. Further down the line at Amokura, DXB 5016 is in charge of the northbound train MP6

After the passage of a Southern Line service, DL 9227 brings train 248 through Papatoetoe, with AT DCs 4248 and 4093 along for the ride. Shortly afterwards, Silver Fern railcar RM 30 passes through with a private charter for a KiwiRail customer

Steam Inc's successful attempt at the Double Thunder excursion from Paekakariki to Woodville and return, behind Ja 1271 and Ab 608. The train was originally scheduled to run on 20 June, however was cancelled due to a number of washouts on the railway and road caused by poor weather. Ja 1271 led the train outbound, with Ab 608 leading the homeward bound train

SA sets around Britomart Transport Centre on their final day of service within the electrified area. A scattering of EMUs as well

Another fresh DL, this time in the form of DL 9481 hauling train MP6 across Taka St. The train was running around two hours late at this point

Still retaining the "fresh off the boat" look, DL 9515 brings train MP4S up the grade at Whangarata, minutes after a hi rail passed through the area on the other track

Gen 2.2 DL 9498 and the sole remaining blue DFT in service, DFT 7335, lead train 243 through Papakura at a decent pace, passing AM 103. DL 9498 is one of eight Gen 2.2 DLs to enter service in recent weeks
